What is 3 Pillars Putting?
3 Pillars Putting is a practice tool designed to help you improve your putting through three core pillars: Stats, Practice, and Mental. Instead of just logging makes and misses, the app helps you understand why you miss — so you can focus your practice on what matters most.
How do I get started with my first practice session?
After opening the app, select the type of practice session you'd like to run. You can track putts during a practice round, work through a specific drill, or do a free practice session. The app will guide you through recording each putt — including the result, distance, and what caused any misses.
Do I need to create an account?
No. 3 Pillars Putting works right out of the box with no account creation or login required. Your putting round data syncs automatically across your devices via iCloud, so your stats are always available on any iPhone signed into the same Apple ID.
What devices are supported?
3 Pillars Putting is available for iPhone and requires iOS 17.0 or later. The app is optimized for all current iPhone screen sizes.

What is the quadrant chart?
The quadrant chart is a visual breakdown of your missed putts. It plots misses across two axes — direction (left/right) and distance (short/long) — so you can see patterns at a glance. The app then provides specific coaching insights based on where your misses cluster, helping you pinpoint what to work on next.
Is my data stored on my device or in the cloud?
Your putting round data syncs securely through iCloud, so it's available across all your devices signed into the same Apple ID. Drill sessions and mental game data are stored locally on your device. We also collect anonymous, aggregated putting performance data (distances, miss directions, speed/line reads) to help improve the app. No personal information is collected. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy.
How do I know which drills to practice?
The app analyzes your putting data and recommends drills based on which pillar needs the most attention. You can also browse all drills and choose your own.
Can I delete my data and start fresh?
Yes. You can reset your data from the app's settings. This will permanently delete all recorded sessions and stats from your device and iCloud. This action cannot be undone, so please be certain before resetting.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel, go to your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, find 3 Pillars Putting, and tap Cancel. You'll continue to have access through the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Your putting round history will also sync automatically via iCloud, so your stats will be waiting for you on the new device.
What anonymous data does the app collect?
When enabled, 3 Pillars Putting collects anonymous putting performance data such as putt distances, miss directions, and speed/line reads. This data helps us improve the app and understand common putting patterns. No personal information is ever collected. You are notified after your first completed round and can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy.
Troubleshooting
Having an issue? Try these steps first.
1. The app feels slow or unresponsive
Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, restart your iPhone. Make sure you're running the latest version of the app and iOS.
2. My stats look incorrect
Stats are calculated based on all recorded sessions. If you entered practice or test data early on, those sessions may be skewing your numbers. You can delete individual sessions or reset all data from Settings.
3. I was charged but don't have premium access
Try tapping "Restore Purchases" in the app. If that doesn't work, verify your subscription status in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
