Terms of Service

The short version: Use the app to improve your putting. Your data is yours. Subscriptions are managed through Apple. If you use Coach Connect, your putting data is shared with your coach. Don't misuse the app. That's pretty much it.
Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using 3 Pillars Putting ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
3 Pillars Putting is a mobile application designed to help golfers track, analyze, and improve their putting performance. The App provides putting data entry, statistical analysis, practice drills, and mental coaching insights. The App also offers Coach Connect, an optional feature that allows golfers to share their putting data with a coach. The App is intended for informational and practice purposes only and does not guarantee improvement in golf performance.
Subscriptions and Payments
3 Pillars Putting offers both free and premium subscription tiers.
Free tier — provides access to core putting tracking features at no cost.
Premium tier — provides access to the full drill library, advanced coaching insights, detailed stat charts, and additional features. Premium is available as a monthly ($5.99/month) or annual ($39.99/year) subscription, both with a 14-day free trial.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Key details:
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Free trial: If you start a free trial, you will not be charged until the 14-day trial period ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period, and you will be notified in advance.
Your Data
All putting data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device and automatically synced to your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit for backup and multi-device access. Only you can access your iCloud data.
When enabled, the App also collects anonymous putting performance data (distances, miss directions, speed/line reads) to help improve the app. This data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore and cannot be traced back to you. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal information. You can delete your local data at any time from within the App's Settings. To remove iCloud-synced data, go to your device's Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
If you use Coach Connect, you create a Firebase account and your putting data is shared with your connected coach through the Coach Connect web portal. You can disconnect at any time in the app's Settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Coach Connect
"Coach Connect is an optional feature that allows you to share your putting data with a golf coach. By using Coach Connect, you agree to the following:
You voluntarily create a Firebase account with your email address and password to use Coach Connect.
You enter a coach code provided by your coach to establish the connection.
Once connected, your putting round data (including distances, miss directions, speed/line/green read assessments, and round history) is shared with your connected coach through the Coach Connect web portal.
Your coach may also invite other individuals (such as parents or assistant coaches) to view your putting data.
You can disconnect from your coach at any time in the app's Settings. Disconnecting stops future data from being shared.
Previously shared data may remain accessible to your coach. To request deletion of previously shared data, contact support@3pillarsputting.com.
Coaches are responsible for using student data appropriately and in accordance with these terms.
Coach Connect is available to premium subscribers. The Coach Connect web portal for coaches is provided free of charge. Academy licensing, which provides bulk premium access for groups of students, is available at separate pricing. Contact support@3pillarsputting.com for details."
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — tracking and improving your putting. You agree not to:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
If you use Coach Connect as a coach, you additionally agree to:
Use student data only for legitimate coaching purposes
Not share student data with unauthorized third parties
Obtain appropriate parental consent when working with junior golfers under 13
Comply with all applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction
Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including text, graphics, logos, drill descriptions, coaching insights, and the 3 Pillars Putting methodology — is owned by 3 Pillars Putting and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without prior written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
3 Pillars Putting is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. The App provides putting analysis and coaching suggestions based on data you enter — results may vary, and the App does not guarantee improvement in golf performance.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3 Pillars Putting and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App or Coach Connect if these terms are violated, including but not limited to misuse of student data or violation of acceptable use policies. Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device unless you choose to delete it. iCloud-synced data remains in your iCloud account until you remove it. If you use Coach Connect, you can disconnect from your coach at any time. To delete your Coach Connect account, contact support@3pillarsputting.com.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will post the revised terms on this page with an updated effective date and may notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
